Orchestra of Drops
The recording in the Syrauer dragon cave demonstrates how musical nature can be. Stalactite and sinter formations, as well as underground lakes, make up the breathtaking cave landscape. It is Saxony’s only show cave.
I’m standing right in front of the largest of these lakes. The water is crystal clear and perfectly illuminated, allowing you to closely examine the various rock formations. I listen to the sounds made by the small orchestra of drops, depending on where the drops hit the water’s surface.
